| File Format: | Two files for each side must be sent in order to produce Spot UV business cards. As it would have been in any other scenario, your normal design file would be the first file "base". The black-and-white file titled "UV mask" is the second one. The sections that will have the UV high gloss finish applied to them will be indicated by the color BLACK. Please provide the files in one PDF file, combining the front design and front mask file, and the back or all four sides in one PDF file. |

Spot UV Business Cards and Postcards
Spot UV applies clear gloss to selected parts of your design, such as a logo, business name, pattern or graphic. The gloss reflects light against the matte or suede background, adding contrast without changing the printed colors or adding a metallic finish.
Spot UV printing is available for standard-size business cards and selected postcard sizes. Stock options vary by size and include:
- 16pt Matte + Spot UV
- 18pt Matte Laminated + Spot UV
- 19pt Suede with Lamination + Spot UV

Available quantities are 500, 1,000, 2,500 and 5,000. Full-color printing is available on both sides.
Choosing a Spot UV Finish
16pt Matte + Spot UV
A firm matte card stock with clear gloss added to selected areas of the design.
18pt Matte Laminated + Spot UV
A thicker card with matte lamination and selective gloss for stronger contrast.
19pt Suede with Lamination + Spot UV
A soft-touch surface that contrasts with the smooth, glossy Spot UV details. Availability may depend on the selected card size.
Spot UV works particularly well on logos, names, borders and background patterns. Keeping the gloss limited to selected areas helps the coated details remain noticeable.
Standard Spot UV or Raised Spot UV?
This product uses standard Spot UV. It creates glossy contrast but does not use the thicker coating found on raised Spot UV cards.
If you want gloss that is noticeably raised from the card surface, view the Raised Spot UV Cards option.

The listed turnaround is four to five business days. Rounded corners are available for 3.5 x 2 business cards and add one additional business day.

Can you help me with my design?
Of course! Whatever you have—pictures, a logo, an outdated design, or nothing at all—we can add the words you desire to it! Upon request, we may also provide images. A proof of your design will be emailed to you for approval or any required changes once we have finished it.

Do I Receive an E-mail Copy of My Order?
Yes. You will receive a copy of your order by e-mail to review it's accuracy: This copy contains your order number. If you do not receive a copy within a few hours, please notify us. We also manually check your order for accuracy and completeness.

Does the turnaround include the shipping time?
No. Turnaround is only for printing time. Shipping times varies between 1-5 business days depends on the final destination. Every order is shipped using standard service. Please ask about Express service, which is available at an additional fee.

No, the pricing listed on our website are all-inclusive and do not include any additional fees depending on the provided print-ready artwork.

May I split my order?
No, splitting an order is not possible. You cannot use two designs with different names to print two x five hundred business cards if you purchase a thousand. Each amount corresponds to a single design.

Do you accept credit card payments?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express), PayPal and Email Money Transfers (through all major Canadian banks). Your payment will be processed though an online secure checkout page.

How much do you charge for shipping?
There is no cost for shipping (Free!!). Please enter the "shipping" coupon code in the shopping cart (the promo code will not work unless you first register an account).

How soon can I expect my order?
Please take note of the different product turnaround time frames. The majority of items are dispatched normally for next-day delivery, however depending on the location, longer delivery periods can be necessary. Please email our shipping department at shipping@zoomprintingusa.com for the delivery window in your location. Delivery might take up to five business days.

Does it take a lot of time to design a business card and place an order for print?
No, designing and ordering printing simply takes a few minutes. Additionally, you may create and place an order at any time of day or night.

Some, indeed. To facilitate future orders, we retain your name, email address, and a history of your purchases. Your payment card information is not stored by us.
